The Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Award is one of the most highly valued and sought after extra-curricular awards of a generation. If you are undertaking your award currently or are the leader of a group that is, we’re glad you found us!
When a sample of the UK’s largest employers were asked what they considered to be the most important activities undertaken at school, DofE came in it at number one! We are well aware of how many young people are committed to completing their awards, and we are also aware of some of the challenges associated with ticking all the right boxes in the process.
We currently offer two elements of the DofE programme: expedition training and assessments and gold award residential weeks. We also provide group accommodation, field trips and activity weeks.
Expeditions are a key part of the award and often prove to be the biggest stretch for participants. This doesn’t need to be the case for leaders. We are a DofE approved activity provider for the expedition section and can guarantee high quality training and assessment. Tell us how you want it to be and we'll do our best to make it happen.
We invite all gold level participants to book on to one of our residential weeks at Hartfield House. Specially designed to meet the criteria for this part of the award, the focus is on environment and adventure. Take this opportunity to complete your award with one of the most memorable trips you've ever taken! Please note that the AAP licence is for the Expeditions section only.
